The Einhell 18V 4Ah PXC SEALED Twinpack is part of Einhell's multifunctional and infinitely combinable Einhell Power X-Change battery system. The universal Power X-Change batteries provide power and endurance for all cordless power tools across the entire product family covering the garden and workshop sector. The special feature of the SEALED battery? The sealed housing makes the battery water-proof and protects the battery from dust in accordance with protection class IP57. Thanks to the integrated short-circuit protection via an extra contact on the battery receptacle, the sensor system detects contact with water and switches off the electronics. This ensures that even if the battery has been completely immersed in water, it can continue to be used once it is dry. Einhell PLUS technology uses 21700-type lithium-ion cells to deliver the same performance and runtime as the 4.0 Ah basic PXC battery — but with only five cells instead of ten. This results in batteries that are 13% more compact and 12% lighter, enabling more efficient work. Furthermore, the high-quality batteries are not subject to the memory effect or self-discharge effect common in most batteries, thus delivering consistent, high power. The batteries are also suitable for use as a twin-pack in 36-V applications. The process-controlled active battery management system ABS continuously monitors the battery parameters using the integrated microprocessor. This ensures maximum safety, optimal device performance, maximum runtime and maximum service life. You can check the current charge status via the 3-setting LED indicator. The design of the housing makes it resistant to corrosion and mechanical impact. The rubber coating gives the batteries high impact protection and ensures a good grip. Due to the recessed grip, the batteries can be easily removed from all devices. Two batteries are included in delivery. The charger is sold separately.
